About Me

Hi, I’m Alex, a certified sexologist through the Sexual Health Alliance. I coach people on how to navigate intimacy, desire and communication with more honesty, confidence and compassion. Prior to my sexology training, I was a youth wilderness therapy guide, where I paired therapeutic work with outdoor activities. I helped teenagers build self-regulation skills and practice communication under pressure. I learned to take an “orienteering” approach to guiding: together we can figure out your current position and identify the best direction to go to reach your destination. I apply the same approach to relationship and intimacy coaching by helping individuals and couples map their desires, set goals and stay accountable.I also support people who are navigating through purity culture and religious shame. Whether you are religious, deconstructing, post-religious or non-religious, my work offers a space to explore intimacy in a way that aligns with your values. Together we can explore communication skills, consensual non-monogamy, kink and verbalize beliefs around intimacy and relationships.

What is Intimacy Coaching?

Intimacy coaching is a way for people to build a healthier relationship with desire. It focuses on practical skills and actionable insights. Together we can work on untangling shame, naming desires, strengthening communication and exploring kink or consensual non-monogamy. This exploration can be done without fear, secrecy, performance pressure or old scripts from purity culture. I support people who feel stuck between who they were taught to be and who they are now.Even though this is not therapy, coaching can be a powerful space for education, reflection and self-discovery.A free 30-minute video consultation is available for new clients. I support virtual or in-person coaching (along the Denver Front Range Corridor). You can book some time directly on my calendar, or submit a more detailed consultation request.

What Coaching is not

Coaching is not a replacement for therapy, medical care or crisis support. I do not diagnose or treat mental health issues, provide mental health care or serve as a primary provider. I refer out to licensed therapists, medical providers and other qualified professionals for issues falling outside my professional scope.I am not a somatic sex coach, so there is no physical touch involved, in any direction. Sessions are discussion only.

Two types of Coaching

Individuals

Individual coaching is for people who want 1:1 support to navigate intimacy and relationships. Many people, especially men, do not have a place to speak openly about what they want, what they fear and what others expect of them. Individual sessions may be a good fit if you are navigating performance pressure, purity culture, religious shame, dating challenges, kink curiosity, questions about masculinity or changing beliefs around intimacy and relationships. This is not about pickup artistry. It is about reconnecting with yourself and viewing your desires with compassion and honesty.A free 30-minute video consultation is available for new clients. I support virtual or in-person coaching (along the Denver Front Range Corridor). You can book some time directly on my calendar, or submit a more detailed consultation request.

Couples

Couples coaching is for partners who want to talk more honestly about desire, intimacy and communication. Many couples are stuck in mismatched desire, shame, old religious scripts or fear, so I help create a space where everyone can slow down and listen to each other’s desires. We could explore rebuilding intimacy, discussing fantasies, navigating kink, exploring consensual non-monogamy, creating agreements or understanding how shame has impacted the relationship. This is not about pressuring another person into a specific outcome or mediating an abusive dynamic. The goal is to help couples communicate with more honesty, compassion and clarity as they intentionally chart out a course together.A free 30-minute video consultation is available for new clients. I support virtual or in-person coaching (along the Denver Front Range Corridor). You can book some time directly on my calendar, or submit a more detailed consultation request.

FAQ

My name is Alex! I am a certified sexologist through the Sexual Health Alliance. I am a male-bodied, post-secular, genderqueer, pansexual, consensually non-monogamous, versatile, switch that is slowly finding my way through the world.

Intimacy coaching is where we work together on a variety of themes centered around sexuality. This could include desire discrepancy, shame, opening up a relationship or kink exploration. You can bring any questions you have about intimacy, arousal, sexual communication, purity conditioning and relationship agreements. You do not need to have the “right words” before starting, because part of coaching is helping you name what is going on and then mapping a path forward.

Yes. Couples can use coaching to talk more honestly about intimacy, desire, sexual differences, communication, boundaries, kink curiosity and relationship agreements. The goal is not to force people into the same desires, but to help you understand each other more clearly and make intentional choices together.

Yes. Individual coaching can be helpful if you want to better understand your own desires, communicate more clearly with partners, work through shame, explore new relationship models or build more confidence around intimacy and sexuality.

I meet each client where they are at. I don't put people through a fixed program, model or pre-built course. I use an orienteering approach to help you find your own “true north”. We identify where you are, clarify where you want to go and talk through actionable steps to move in that direction. Sessions may include journaling, reflection, education, exercises, goal setting and accountability check-ins.

No. Coaching is not therapy, medical care or crisis care. I do not diagnose mental health conditions, treat trauma, provide medical advice or serve as a primary provider. When something falls outside the scope of coaching, I refer out to licensed therapists, medical providers, crisis resources or other qualified professionals.

Yes. I can support people untangling their desires from sexual shame and purity culture. You do not have to abandon your entire background or set of core beliefs. Coaching gives you space to ask questions, discover new parts of yourself and choose what kind of intimate life you want now.

Sessions include frank discussions regarding intimacy, bodies, desire, pleasure and relationship dynamics. The tone is educational, not sexual. As we meet, we can slow down, adjust the conversation to your comfort level or ask for a different type of language to talk about things.

Coaching sessions are discussion based only. There is no physical touch involved.

I offer remote coaching and in-person sessions to those in Denver (Front Range Corridor).
